We work with your IT teams to run Oracle’s audit scripts in the safest and quickest way possible, and analyse the data in the same way it will be done by Oracle.

The Effective License Position (ELP) compares your license grant with the actual deployment. It is quantified in #licenses as wel as financial exposure (Oracle license- and support fees). Oracle will aim to charge any back-dated support for historica usage evidence: This risk is also reflected in our report.

Clients often choose to remediate license shortfalls by implementing changes that will optimise the effective license position to the customers’ advantage. We ensure that any changes implemented by the client, are reflected in (updated) audit script data.

Up to this moment we have probably already provided you with arguments to keep Oracle’s auditor at an arm’s length. During this phase we ensure that you know which information is (not) to be shared with Oracle, and what the information implies.

During this stage we will ensure that you only negotiate for licenses that you actually need, in the best contractual definition, at the best price point, and at beneficial contractual provisions. It is not a prerequisite that the previous stages in the process have been completed prior to the start of this phase but it is a significant advantage.
